A Symphony of Lights in Hong Kong

Attending “A Symphony of Lights” show was on our list! Our hotel is located on Hong Kong Island, and to attend the show we would have to go see it from Kowloon Island (nicer view) on Victoria Harbor. That day we decided to go shopping in Kowloon and attend the light show, which is performed daily at 8:00PM, before we head back to our hotel.

The place was getting packed… I was told by a couple of people to go a bit early and pick a seat near the clock tower in Tsim Sha Tsui… done 😉

Amazing skyline!

And here we are by the clock tower facing their colorful lit skyline

And the show began at 8:00PM exactly… luckily for us it was in English narration that day 😉

The show is a synchronized building exterior lighting and laser display, featuring more than 40 buildings on both sides of the harbor – lights show accompanied by orchestrated music – The largest permanent light/sound show (Guinness World of Records)

Its a 15 minutes long show so make sure to stop by when in town – take a walk along the Avenue of Stars before that, but make sure to pick a good spot before the show stars! It gets really crowded (locals and visitors) – a show not to be missed when in Hong Kong 😉
