Chocolateness – Soft Opened

I was lucky enough to have the chance and try some of @ChocolatenessKW new yummies πŸ˜€

Mimmi (my sis) and I arrived at 7:00PM last Tuesday πŸ˜‰ It was my third visit to the newly opened (soft opened to be exact) store, but this time it wasn’t about checking the place out and meeting the team and all… it was to try their new yummies πŸ˜€

We started of with drinks… I wanted green tea with lemon grass – to feel less guilty about the sweets I was about to try! I must say this; the place, the staff, the attention to details, the quality of silverware and all was beyond amazing! The tea bag in the above picture is just funky and nice! I loved it… then we started of with the Frozen Cheesecake Bites! The pictures are self-explanatory! The flavors consist of three different flavors; espresso, cheese, and raspberry with two forks! You grab one, dip it in chocolate, then in the biscuit crumbs and voila… there you have it, a small frozen cheesecake bite with a bit ofΒ exerciseΒ πŸ˜‰ That was absolutely my favorite dish of the night! A MUST have when at Chocolateness

Another dish that involves some action and fun was the Make Your Own Apple Pie! Crispy crackers dusted with sugar and spice… and everything nice (cinnamon aahhh), topped with a spread of frosting, that is then again topped with caramelized tiny little apple cubes! A creative and fun way to have your apple pie, dont you agree? πŸ˜‰

The Strawberry Sundae – Sweet rosey cake covered in sweet white frosting and topped with tangy strawberry jam that is made in-house! The combo of ingredients compliment one another really well… I specially liked the strawberry jam and would definitely get it if they start selling them in jars πŸ˜‰

The Peanut Butter Cup… the one I was waiting to try the most when they posted the pictures on Facebook! Such desserts; made with chocolate and peanut butter are meant for me and my taste buds LOL! I mean I love this combo so much! This was quite good, but I prefer their Chocolate and Peanut Butter Molten Cakes (link)

Next came in their homemade Nuts Bar… Too rich for my taste πŸ™‚ It would be perfect for those Snickers Lovers for sure πŸ˜‰

Another interactive and fun creation is their Hot Coco! It comes in their signature wooden spoon (which I love and think adds a lot to the flavor and presentation + I love the giant wooden spoon at the door)! The spoon comes in with a block of chocolate, made in-house also, that you dip in hot milk… and there you have it, Hot Coco πŸ˜‰

And are you ready for this???? A new dish that was served for the first time ever πŸ˜‰ It doesn’t have a name yet! It is mini red velvet cakes that you get to dip in white creamy sweet sauce! LOVED it! I call’em Dirty Little Red Devils LOL

To rest our tongues from all the sugar, they made us mojito like drinks… with no sugar added πŸ˜‰ So it was natural all the way! VERY summary and very nice… loved the sour kick in it too πŸ˜€

And the last but not the least, the very fun to make Lollies <3 From white and milk chocolate, just like Kinder Surprise Egg taste, only it is richer and creamier… and more fun to make and then eat LOL

It was for sure a fun yummy experience… the staff were all smiles the whole time we were there… I met with some of the team members again, but met Muneera for the first time whom I fall in love with more when they told me she is the brains behind the molten cake that made me fall in love with Chocolateness! I swear I still remember the first time I tried those moltens in the foil cups… it was what! 2008 maybe? In one of the exhibition, when Rakan called out my name and asked me to try the best molten cake… told him I was not a fan, but he assured me this one was different… and different it was! I got hooked ever since!

Thank you guys again and again and again! Muneera!!! You are a doll ;*
