In the last couple of days I have received some Eid cakes and sweets from few companies in town (thanks 😉 ) I will start with the first Eid Cake I got from Opera! They sent me one of their Eid Cakes! Actually they asked me which one I liked the most, and I went with the Macadamia Caramel & Pistachio Mousse! So the moment I saw their famous black bag I knew it was the cake I liked 😉
It came in with a personal early Eid greetings 🙂
I was wondering in my previous post if the plexi tray is included with the cake purchase like Lenotre, and it turned out it was 😉 So the presentation was elegant and chic
I could not help but relate the cake look and texture to a quilted classical Chanel bag in caviar leather! Don’t you agree?
Its so simple looking with the gold and silver edible paper decoration on one side! The plexi tray surely added a lot to the presentation!
And the cake texture was moist -which is something I like- and there were chunks of nuts in between the layers of the cake
The part I liked the most was the chocolate base… nutty and full of flavor 😉
Thank you Opera 😉
Later that evening I got a bag from Chocopolis!
It came in their signature boxes that matches the bag… floral and canvas-like prints. Its not shown in the picture, but if you look clearly… its like a painting on the bag!
It also came with a personal greeting to moi 😉
A box of small coffee sweets… the colors of which are yummylicious!
and a closer look inside
The bigger box contained more coffee sweets! I tried some of those items before and reviewed them too (link)
Thank you Chocopolis 😉
Inside of which was a see-through box decorated with black and white prints… the kind that you cannot tell if its classic or modern (just like the cafe theme itself)… all wrapped up in vibrant yellow ribbon with their menu and VIP catering business card
And when I opened it up… there was a tin container (طاسة)… before I took the lid off I knew it was Gers Ogaili (قرص عقيلي)! The smell was such a teaser!
Can’t wait to have a slice this evening! YUMMM
Thank you Cafe Bazza 😉 (Special thanks to Saud AlAnazi)
