I spotted this ad while at the traffic light in Salmiya… at the end of 4th Ring Rd

The idea behind it is nice! It is showing a girl with her books all around her (studying).. she is wearing casual clothes, wearing heavy makeup for someone who is studying at home (not very clear in my pictures), and have pencils in her hair used just like the oriental sticks!

It reads The taste takes you over, a translation for Arabic which reads (عالبال بكل الأحوال)… now I get it, the translation should be conceptual and not literal, but I dont see the relation between the English and Arabic catch phrases used in the ad! I also do not like the fact that she is wearing heavy makeup! Other than that, what do you think?
